Rock the Oldies

There is a Rock the Oldies challlenge on Stamp TV. You have to make a card that reminds you of an oldies song. My song is "Paper Roses." Goes something like this: Paper Roses, Paper Roses, Oh how real those roses seem to be But they're only imitation, like your imitation love for me. Anyway, I used a really old stamp I have but still love. It was made by DOTS before they changed their name and is called Rose Romance.

Thinking of you flower

Someone sent me a birthday card with a flower in this shape. Well, I took it off the card and made me a pattern. This is a really fun flower. The card is a little shabby chic, not my cup of tea but thought I would try.

Merci

Cat had a challenge on Stamp TV to use metal in your card. I had this metal merci brad and decided it was the perfect thing to use with my Eiffel Tower Stamp from Inkadinkado.The paper underneath the paint chip is gold metallic. The scan does not do it justice.

Another Stamp TV Video Project

Saw this video on Stamp TV and I happen to have this very stamp set from Gina K, so of course I had to do it. Love all the elements. The stickles are really shinier than the scan shows.

Snowy Window

I found a great video on Stamp TV by Gina K. It's called Faux Window technique. I knew I just had to try it. It was really easy and the video is great.

Had to try the Wainscoat technique on Stamp TV. Gina K made it so easy. I love it! I made this card for the Anything Outdoors challenge on Stamp TV. I used my SU Owl Punch.

I bought this Gina K set from someone. It is called Little Tees. I think I will used it a lot.

Case the DT Challenge on Stamp TV

I love these case the DT challenges. Makes me feel a little better when I can make something that almost looks like one of the designers. Gives me hope that I might make it someday too, that is to be called a designer, not just a copier. Ha! Anyway one of my favorite designers on Stamp TV is Tami Mayberry. Blog Hop with Sean and Regina!

Just wanted to remind everyone of the blog hop on Crafty Card Club with Sean and Regina. It starts today! Hooray!!

Birthday Banner

Stamp TV is having a challenge to use shapes on a birthday card. This is my entry. I used a pre-designed card from My Mind's Eye Just Dreamy Pack. I cut the banners by hand and stamped with letters. Punched out matching stars. Inside says Birthday wishes.

Another Stamp TV Challenge

The Oldies Challenge was to use heat embossing on your card. I embossed the flower from Gina K's Bold and Beautiful set with white embossing powder and colored with water color markers. I used the frame and words from Gina K's All Ocassion Tags. The rhinestones are lavendar.

Gina K Technique

I am soooo excited. I finally got some Gina K stamps and I couldn't wait to try them. Gina K spot-lighted a faux quilting technique on the Stamp TV blog today and I just had to try that, too. Stamp is from Gina K's All Ocassion Tags.

Paper scraps

Here is a neat idea for using paper scraps. In fact, I was at a card class and someone threw this paper away. Yes, you guessed it. I got it out of the trash and used it. These cards are case'd from Darlene McCallum at www.dreamingaboutrubberstamps.com .    

Baby Boy

Made this card for a Stamp TV challenge, which was to use the same stamp as the background and the main image. Used stamps from Stamping Up Cuddles and Tickles. Also used Spellbinders Large
Scalloped Rectangles.

Christmas In July

The Justrite Blog is having a Christmas in July Challenge. This is my entry. Let it snow is from Justrite Christmas Joy. Cuttlebug Embossing Folder is D'vine Swirl. Snowflakes are made with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. Also used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals Nestibilities.
