Double Z Fold Card

I tried a new technique today. The instructions for the Double Z Fold card can be found on Splitcoast Stampers under resources. It was fairly easy to do thanks to the great instructions by Beate.

This is a very versatile card that would be good for any occasion just by changing the paper and embellishments.

You're A Star

Made this card for a challenge on Crazy 4 Challenges. The challenge was to make a child's birthday card. Every child wants to feel like a star on their birthday.

Used a pre-printed card from My Mind's Eye. Used Nestibilities Lacy Squares. Printed the caption with the computer. Added puched red stars.

Used Kraft card stock from Paper Studio. Birds and branch are from TPC Studios Little Lovin' and Happy Valentines is from Making Memories Love Struck. Inside captions says, "We will always be Tweethearts." Just a little valentine for the love of your life.

Some of My Christmas Projects

I always get too much going around Christmas and never seem to have enough time to do everything I want. I try to get started earlier every year, but I never get it all done! Here are some of the things I did get done before Christmas.

On the manila folder project, I got the directions on Splitcoast Stampers. I filled the pockets with Christmas cards and tags and sent this to my oldest daughter. Only got one of these made this time, but would like to make more of these the next time!

I already have plans for next Christmas. We will see how much of that I get done. Thought I would get a lot more done since I retired but I have been really busy. Not as much stamping time as I would have hoped.

Rubberstamping

Wild Thing
Dino-mite!
My Heart Belongs to You

I love to rubberstamp. Started stamping in the mid 90's when Hallmark cards got upwards of $5, to save money. What a joke. I spend lots of money on rubberstamping because you always have to have the coolest tools and latest embellishments, but what the heck. I love it!!

Here are some of my latest creations:
