Happy birthday owls!

Still playing with my owl punch. I can't get over how cute the owls are. Have been looking on Pinterest and there are so many ideas using the Stamping Up Owl punch. Gets my creative juices flowing!

Birthday Owls

Just used my computer to create the caption. The branch is a Sizzix Sizzlet called branch with leaves.
Inside says Where's the Party?

Mother's Day Felted Card

Here is another felted card. The rose is a napkin ironed onto the card stock. This scanned rather well except the jewels supposed to be a dark pink.

Owl card

I finally got Stamping Up's Owl Builder punch. Hurray! I have been wanting one for a long time. Here is my first owl card and I am sure it is not my last!

The leaves are a Sizzix Branch with Leaves die. I had so much fun making this. In fact I made a whole bunch of owls, so get ready to see them!

Here's another owl card. Case'd it from Stampingnut on Pinterest.  I looked at so many examples of owl cards everywhere.

Love the Silhouette! Says Happy Anniversary on the inside.

Cards made with Napkins

A friend of mine had told me about a video online where someone ironed a napkin onto cardstock. I lost the site, but found a tutorial with a video on Splitcoast Stampers. Its called a felted card because after you iron the napkin on the card has a wonderful texture to it. This is my example. Hope you like it.

The background words are a napkin. It was pretty easy to do and the directions were really easy to follow. I think I will go back to Tuesday Morning and get some different kind of napkins, they have hundreds. This would also be a good technique to used if you had to make a lot of the same cards.

Here's the other one I did.

You are only limited in your design by the napkin you buy. No coloring or cutting or anything. Just ironing and cutting off the excess. This is really a fun technique!
