Shabby Chic

Well, here it is. My first attempt at Shabby Chic. I have a lot to learn but at least I'm on my way. I did this card for the Mix It Up Monday challenge on Stamp TV, which was to do a shabby chic or vintage card. Used Flutter from Tim Holtz' Component Collection. Stamps on the background are from Cavelltini Paris stamp set.

    Very pretty. I always enjoy seeing your cards. It seems that I do not get many cards made right now. In August I had surgery to remove a skin cancer from my nose. The reconstruction is becoming a long process. I have not been able to wear my glasses since that time--almost four weeks now. My second surgery is scheduled for Tuesday the 11th. There will probably be a third one in a few months. I know the Lord is in control. Being patient is the hard part.

      Sorry to hear about your problems. Will keep you in my prayers. If I didn't have my glasses, I couldn't do anything. Praying the Lord will give you a quick recovery and that everything will go well.
